A collection of works by Sylvester who deconstructs t-shirt jersey to reveal the complexity & beauty of the fabric structures within an iconic item of clothing.

A collection of works by Sylvester who deconstructs t-shirt jersey to reveal the complexity & beauty of the fabric structures within an iconic item of clothing.

Her landscape paintings are a response to Deleuze philosophy, created by stencil spray of the weave over board/canvas.

The textile works are couched small segments of the de-threaded t-shirt weave. The geometric abstract style of needle work, anchoring the thread to the background allows a forensic study of the potential with every fibre we take for granted
